Durgapur Engineering Company Limited was established by pioneer engineer, late Shri Keshav LaLBasuIn the lush green fields of Panagarh in the year 1962. He was a great visionary who designed this company after another famous company Kusum Engineering. He is a constant source and inspiration for us as we complete our 55 years in this field. His successors Mr. Swadesh Kumar Basu and Mr. Subhas Chandra Basu ,under whom this company and its sister concern Lata Engineering Company(Sodpur, kolkata) flourished are our guiding light. Our present Managing Director Mrs. Sutapa Basu tries her level best to adhere to his commitments and give utmost satisfaction to his customers.
